NOTICE OF PROPOSED CLASS AND COLLECTIVE-ACTION SETTLEMENT
If you were employed by Loomis Armored US, LLC (“Loomis” or “Defendant”) as an Armored Service Technician or in a similar position sometime during the period from October 1, 2015 to December 16, 2019, a proposed Settlement may affect your rights. A Court has preliminarily approved a proposed Settlement of claims for alleged unpaid wages on behalf of employees who were employed by Loomis.

March 22, 2020 — Postmark Deadline to Mail Requests for Exclusion.
March 22, 2020 — Deadline to File Objections with the Court and Serve Copies by Mail to Class Counsel and Defense Counsel.
March 22, 2020 — Postmark Deadline to Submit a Claim Form.
April 8, 2020 at 9:30a.m. — Fairness Hearing.
|SUMMARY OF YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OPTIONS IN THIS SETTLEMENT:|
|Receive money and release your Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) and North Carolina Wage and Hour Act (“NCWHA”) claims, if any, as well as any other wage and hour claims you may have.
In order to receive a Settlement payment, you must fully complete the Claim Form and I.R.S. Form W-9, and return them to the Settlement Administrator by March 22, 2020. The I.R.S. Form W-9 can also be found at: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf.
|If you do not wish to participate in the Settlement, you may exclude yourself by following the instructions in FAQ 11.B. If you request exclusion, do not submit a Claim Form.
Only those individuals who exclude themselves will retain any right they may have to pursue their own lawsuit or claims under the NCWHA in the future. Individuals who request exclusion will not release any NCWHA claims as part of this Settlement, but also will not receive any monetary award as part of the Settlement.
|If you were employed by Loomis as an Armored Service Technician or similar position, and at any time between October 1, 2016, and December 16, 2019, were subjected to deductions from your paycheck for certain equipment and/or worked more than forty (40) hours in a workweek(s), and do not exclude yourself by following the instructions in FAQ 11.B, you can write the Court about why you object to the Settlement.|
|If you do nothing, you will not receive any monetary award available to you under the Settlement, but you will still release any claims you may have under the NCWHA. You will not, however, release any claims under the FLSA.|
